School Outreach Project: “DREAM COME TRUE Project” (in cooperation with NPO JAE)

As part of our vision to become a century-old company, Kamitani Kiko participates in the “DREAM COME TRUE Project” organized by NPO JAE. We regularly conduct school visits where we share our work to inspire children to dream about their future.
This initiative not only contributes to society by encouraging children and young people to think about their aspirations, society, and careers, but also serves as a valuable employee development program. Under the theme, “Inspiring children through our work” and “Teaching is the greatest learning,” our employees engage across departments and generations, learning from one another through these experiences.

International Exchange Project: “Asian Beat” (in cooperation with NPO Common Beat)

We have visited one of the largest landfill sites in Indonesia together with NPO staff from Japan, as well as surrounding communities and schools. Activities have also included joint stays at Islamic boarding schools, discussions with globally active business professionals (including Japanese expatriates), and cultural exchanges with Indonesian musical theater groups.
Through initiatives such as study tours, we emphasize experiencing reality firsthand—seeing, thinking, and engaging in dialogue. By transcending boundaries of company and nationality, we aim to better understand the real world and reflect on how we should move forward into the future.

Internship Program with Our Indonesian Subsidiary

To provide students with hands-on, real-world experience, we accept Japanese interns at our Indonesian subsidiary. In addition to factory training, interns accompany sales activities and gain exposure not only to Indonesia but also to the realities of Japanese professionals working internationally.

Guest Lectures at Universities and High Schools

“Someone’s career path can become a guiding light for your own future outlook.”
As a company—and as individuals—we would be honored if the way we live, the paths we choose, and the goals we pursue can serve as inspiration for younger generations. Our representative delivers guest lectures not only in Japan but also at educational institutions overseas. While the primary focus in Japan is career education, lectures can be tailored to specific themes upon request. Please feel free to contact us for further details.

Internship Program for University and High School Students

We welcome students who choose KAMIYA as their internship destination. By stepping into the world of cutting tool manufacturing—an industry many have never experienced—students approach learning with curiosity and strong motivation. It is clear to us that they grow significantly in a short period of time, and in turn, our employees also gain valuable learning experiences alongside them.
