The Customer's Problem
・Resolve the dust generation issue caused by cutting with chip saws.

Our Approach
・Redesigned the product from the ground up to enable manufacturing in a knife configuration instead of a conventional blade.
・Carbide tips are brazed onto the outer periphery of the round knife; initially, issues such as tip detachment occurred frequently. However, through the development of a specialized brazing technique and the establishment of precise measurement methods for the brazed areas, stable product quality was achieved.
・As a result, both dust reduction and improved material yield were successfully realized.
